This March, Students will journey from Phoenix to Helene (Honduras), where they partner with Mission Encounters International (MEI) to minister to impoverished families. After landing in Roatan, students will take a short van ride to docks. From there, students will take a 30-minute boat ride to the island of Helene, where they will spend a week ministering to the children at the mission Christian school as well as participating in home visits.
Students will also experience the culture of Honduras: Jungle hike, swimming in the sea, possible snorkeling, shopping at the Helene market!
I have the privilege of leading this small army of students as we head toward Honduras in the coming months! Please pray for us as we prepare for this trip. Many of the students will be going to the mission field for the very first time. We believe that this mission trip has the potential to make a real difference in the lives of those we will be serving.
